Oh, not another one, please.

I found a beagle on the sidewalk the other night as I was on my way to the bus station. In the first place, I thought it must have gotten lost, so all I did was just stand there to keep her company. I thought her owner would come back for her, but I was absolutely wrong. No one seemed to come pick her up. Then I started to realize that she might be a stray dog dumped by her heartless owner. Worrying that she might get hit by the cars or motorcycles she dodged, I decided to take her home first. Now I am in trouble, for I have already reared one dog, I really have hard time keeping another one. Will anyone like to keep a dog? Please let me know. Again, she is a beagle, known as the one with short legs and smooth fur, sometimes used in hunting. Send you email to me if interested. My email: aboto1@yahoo.com

  1. You are a great person for taking in this beagle.

I would post some advertisements looking for a possible owner.

  2. Thanks. We are in Taiwan. If anyone who is interested in adopting this poor stray dog, please contact me.

  3. Hi Albert! You are so kind to save that poor beagle! We adopted a beagle a year ago from the shelter. Beagle has one of the best developed senses of smell of any dog so that he may often lead by his nose to somewhere and get lost. Or it may be dumped by the owner for his outgoing personality. In general, beagle is a very good family dog and friendly to people. However, beagle likes to eat and play, it's not a good idea to keep the dog in the house all day... By the way, you may need to take her to the animal shelter in Taiwan (is there any?) to see if she had any id (micro chip)on her.

  4. I can't take her to any shelters, Jenny. If I did, she would get mercy killing if no one came claim her within two months or so. That's how they deal with stray dogs at the shelters in Taiwan.
